Job summary

Ascension in Panama City, FL, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, operate advanced cameras, and ensure precise patient positioning. The candidate must hold NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine credentials, a qualifying education path, and a BLS credential within 1 month of hire, with GE scanner experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine credential required prior to hire.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of related experience.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• Experience with GE Scanners
• Nuclear Medicine experience
• On-Call, weekend, and holiday rotation requirements
