Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering experience or an MS degree.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear plant mechanical design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Create or review mechanical drawings for nuclear plant systems.
• Conduct engineering analyses to support plant modifications.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents.
• Perform vendor bid evaluations for plant equipment.
• Study options for modifications to operating plants.
• Lead engineering project teams.
