ENERCON is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Nuclear Design Group in the United States. This full-time role supports major and minor power plant projects with a strong emphasis on quality engineering documents and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, solid design experience in power generation or nuclear projects, and excellent communication skills. US citizenship is required for federal contracts; travel ~10% is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with design of mechanical systems is needed.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills are required.

• Deliver high-quality engineering documents—drawings, sketches, calculations, analyses meeting codes and standards.
• Adhere to client and ENERCON requirements, following procedures and project directives.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture, and advanced nuclear design techniques.

• Build lasting client relationships through clear communication and professional interactions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites to connect with client personnel, perform on-site walkdowns, and evaluate plant structures and components.
