Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a nuclear design group. You will work on projects from power plant modifications to new designs, traveling to sites, preparing drawings, and reports in a multi-discipline team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years’ design experience, and US citizenship. Proficiency with Word/Excel and strong communication skills are essential. Some positions may be remote; travel about 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering documents and analyses meeting codes and standards.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with clients to ensure comprehensive designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on-site walkdowns and assessments.
