ENERCON is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Nuclear Design Group. You will work on power plant modifications, cooling water systems, pumps, motors, piping, and heat exchangers, supporting both existing and new facilities. Travel to plant sites is involved.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality engineering documents, adhering to standards, and collaborating across disciplines to meet client needs and regulatory requirements. US citizenship is required for federal projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and standards.
• Develop documents in alignment with client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce deliverables that meet quality assurance standards and client expectations.
• Engage with clients to establish trust and present engineering solutions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
