Job summary

Responsibilities include producing engineering docs, evaluating equipment options, and visiting plant sites. Travel up to 10% is expected; US citizenship is required due to federal contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design of mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality engineering documents that meet codes, standards, and client needs.
• Adhere to client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements while following procedures.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce deliverables that meet QA standards and project scopes.
• Build lasting client relationships through clear communication and professional interactions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on‑site walkdowns and evaluations.
