Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within our Nuclear Services Group. You will lead complex engineering tasks, coordinate with SMEs, clients, and PMs to deliver safe, cost-effective, regulatory-compliant solutions across nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

• Design Engineering experience with modification and implementation in power facilities.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience).
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions and align teams to meet quality and deadlines.
• Manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities.
• Provide interdisciplinary coordination and act as technical leader for project scope.
• Report project performance and financial status to management.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, and clients to deliver compliant solutions.
