Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Knoxville offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote. This Associate role supports LR/SLR license extension and aging management implementation for the U.S.

nuclear fleet, bridging technical aging requirements with field execution and planning activities. The ideal candidate has LR/SLR experience, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to interact with clients and NRC as a technical expert.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in design and analysis of nuclear, industrial, or DOE facilities.
• Proven experience managing and/or participating in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in managing medium-to-large critical projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in mentoring staff engineers and providing guidance.

Responsibilities

• License renewal & aging management implementation and related activities.
• Use work management and planning systems to identify LR/SLR opportunities.
• Coordinate with schedulers, planners, and field organizations to embed aging management needs into realistic work sequences.
