Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced License Renewal (LR) / Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) professional to support license extension and post-approval implementation activities across the U.S. nuclear power fleet.

You will turn LR/SLR commitments into practical field execution plans and may perform visual inspections as needed. The ideal candidate has LR/SLR experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and structural SMEs,

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in design/analysis of nuclear, industrial, or DOE facilities.
• Experience managing and/or participating in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in managing medium-to-large critical projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in providing guidance, mentoring, and training to staff engineers.
• Licensed Operator for a Utility.
• Experience delivering accurate, high-quality technical documentation in a highly regulated environment (nuclear, DOE, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with engineering documentation systems, nuclear QA/QC protocols, and configuration management processes.

Responsibilities

• License renewal & aging management implementation: support LR/SLR implementation activities and PM basis development.
• Work Management & Coordination: use planning systems to identify LR/SLR opportunities and coordinate with schedulers and field teams.
• Engineering basis, documentation & configuration control: develop and maintain AMP/PM basis docs and track changes.
• Stakeholder engagement & SME coordination: interact with clients and NRC and coordinate with SMEs and field leads.
• Regulatory awareness & operating experience: stay updated on LR/SLR regulations and incorporate NEI/NUREG guidance.
