Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure professional to support the Nuclear Infrastructure Team. The role involves maintaining servers, storage, networks, and virtualization platforms, along with planning, designing, and upgrading computer systems.

You will install network switches and access points and help manage outages. Required are 2+ years of related experience, OS/software/hardware know-how, documentation skills, and strong communication with IT staff and business clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalently extensive experience.
Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
2–3 years of hardware, OS, and software experience.
Ability to document work processes and follow defined procedures.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to build working relationships across organizational levels.
Ability to work in a plan-driven team environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the Nuclear Infrastructure Team and support infrastructure and business applications.
Install and configure servers, storage, network devices, and virtualization platforms.
Install network switches and access points; support outages.
Plan, design, and implement computer systems and upgrades.
Provide technical guidance to IT staff and develop IT standards.
Prepare activity and progress reports; evaluate hardware/software developments.
