Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Instrument & Controls Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group in a hybrid role. You will work on major process-control projects, interface with discipline engineers and clients, and help prepare design inputs and drawings.

The role offers growth through mentoring less experienced engineers and collaboration with vendors to meet project requirements. You will participate in site walkdowns and client meetings, while applying control-system knowledge to digital

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program with coursework in control systems, systems engineering, mechatronics, or robotics.
• 3+ years of experience in design engineering for process control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in reviewing design drawings created by others.

Responsibilities

• Interface with discipline engineers and the client to ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare documentation for design input, drawings, and schematics.
• Interface with vendors and prepare equipment purchase specifications.
• Attend client meetings and conduct site walkdowns to verify work.
