Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. This role supports the safe, reliable operation of nuclear facilities by producing drawings, calculations, and analyses, and by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement innovative solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in I&C design with PLCs and DCS, and willingness to travel about 10%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLCs and DCS.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

• Develop Engineering Deliverables: Drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Set the Standard: Create documents that meet client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay on the Cutting Edge: Update knowledge of industry codes and safety principles.
• Drive Quality & Precision: Align solutions with QA programs.
• Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust through clear communication and delivery of results.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide Field Support: On-site engagement to ensure plant equipment meets standards.
