Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. in Naperville, IL, is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. You will develop I&C plant components, review drawings, and support safe, reliable operation of nuclear facilities.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, 3+ years of I&C design experience, familiarity with PLCs and DCS, and strong written and verbal communication. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLCs and DCS.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
