Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. The role offers pathways from mid-level to principal engineer, with opportunities to lead, mentor, and advance in a growing organization.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, reliable operation of nuclear facilities, develop precise drawings and analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance while expanding expertise in industry codes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing I&C plant components and controls systems (PLC/DCS) in nuclear or DOE-related projects.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong written and spoken communication; able to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical I&C design deliverables, drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client expectations.
• Update plant drawings and documentation; review vendor submittals for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated nuclear facility designs.
