You will oversee design, analysis, and compliance with NRC regulations and NFPA codes, guiding a diverse technical team across projects and clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic direction, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to sustain safe shutdown capability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (fire protection or mechanical preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of fire protection engineering experience, including project leadership.
• Experience in nuclear power plant fire protection and related codes.
• Knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering project delivery with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical direction and ensure regulatory compliance for Post-Fire Safe Shutdown/Fire Protection.
• Manage client interface, relationships, and technical positioning.
• Coordinate matrixed engineering resources and staffing with design leadership.
• Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement across projects.
