Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervising Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to lead a team supporting nuclear power plant modifications. The role involves developing engineering modification packages, overseeing budgets, and providing technical leadership across multiple sites in the Carolinas.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in electrical systems design for power plants and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing electrical systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License in any U.S. state.
• Familiarity with plant design processes and preparation of engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering change and plant modification packages.
• Create equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis.
• Perform electrical studies using OTI-ETAP software.

Skills

Strong practical knowledge of Nuclear Operating Plants

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education
