Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. (United) seeks an Electrical Supervising Engineer to lead a team of electrical and I&C engineers on nuclear plant modifications in the Detroit/Toledo area. You will oversee design packages, scope, schedule and budgets to deliver modifications safely and effectively.

Qualified candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 8+ years in nuclear/heavy industry electrical designs, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required in US state with ability to obtain in others by comity.
• 8+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with IEEE, EPRI, industry codes and standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering change and plant modification packages.
• Create equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analyses for design control.
• Prepare electrical design documents including single-line diagrams and panel schedules.
• Lead and supervise electrical engineering and I&C activities on the project.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors and project teams.
