Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering and design for nuclear projects, including SMR and uprates.

You will coordinate with clients, partners, and a multidisciplinary team through conceptual, preliminary and detailed phases, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and safety compliance. Requirements include a BS in engineering, PE license, 12+ years in nuclear engineering, and 5+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in nuclear plant engineering and design.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Ability to manage the engineering elements of large EPC projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering management and guidance to subordinate staff and enforce policies.
• Plan and manage work activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Demonstrate project leadership and supervise project staff.
• Monitor day-to-day activities and proactively identify problems and opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, partners, and design teams across engineering disciplines.
• Manage engineering schedule and cost performance; conduct status reporting.
