Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to guide a multi‑discipline team on critical projects at the Harrisburg site. You will define scope, supervise detailed design, and coordinate with clients to ensure successful, on‑time, within‑budget deliverables.

You will mentor staff, develop proposals, and seek strategic opportunities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a demanding nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• A BSEE degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
• Ten or more years’ experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for power plants.
• Three or more years experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design.
• Experience coordinating multi‑discipline interfaces and client liaison.
• PE licensure is preferred.
• Ability to obtain badge for unescorted nuclear access.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts by group members to deliver electrical engineering project deliverables within scope, budget, and quality.
• Define scope, deliverables, and coordinate progress/status reports.
• Oversee detailed design phases and interface with other disciplines.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
• Prepare multi‑discipline proposals and interface with client to ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide group development.
• Identify opportunities for follow‑on work with existing clients.
