Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a senior electrical engineering group leader to oversee multi‑discipline projects, investigate and solve complex electrical issues, and coordinate with other disciplines on nuclear power plant upgrades.

You will define deliverables, manage scope and budget, mentor the team, and develop proposals while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree from ABET-accredited program.
• 10 years in electrical design for nuclear plants.
• 3 years leading an engineering design group.
• Experience selecting equipment, materials, and preparing design change packages.
• Experience serving as firm/client liaison in a lead role.
• Electrical system design including LV/MV distributions.

Responsibilities

• Lead group to ensure on-time, within-budget completion of electrical deliverables.
• Define scope, deliverables, and track progress; conduct routine status meetings.
• Coordinate multi-discipline interfaces and design for nuclear projects.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex modifications.
• Prepare/coordinate multi-discipline proposals and provide technical oversight.
