Sargent & Lundy seeks a drafting professional to join our nuclear power design team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will develop and refine design drawings, collaborate with多disciplinary teams, and participate in 3D design software training to advance project delivery.

You will create scaled master sketches linking proposed installations to existing facilities and specifications. Experience with MicroStation and 3D visualization is valued as you support client engagements and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical area including drafting, or a high school diploma with equivalent design experience.
• Advanced drafting experience using standard computer drafting tools (i.e MicroStation).
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and expand drafting skills in a multi-disciplined team to prepare design drawings from input.
• Apply CAD skills and training in 3D design software environments.
• Create master sketches to scale showing proposed installations relative to existing facilities with exact specs and dimensions.
• Assist experienced designers on client site walkdowns to gather information for your project.
• Explain drawings to vendors and construction contractors to support design adjustments.
