Job summary

Aecon U.S. is seeking a Federal Site Manager to lead the SRS site operations, coordinating personnel, safety, schedule and client expectations on complex nuclear projects.

Reporting to the Director of Federal Services, you will oversee day-to-day site management, review safety programs, onboarding, and ensure compliance with DOE requirements and NQA-1 standards. This role requires 10+ years in nuclear construction, strong leadership, and proven ability to collaborate with clients,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years nuclear construction and subcontractor supervisory experience.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in the nuclear or construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction.
• Proficient understanding of NQA-1 construction and requirements.
• Must understand how to support a positive Safety Culture.
• Leadership experience in managing complex nuclear construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations and coordinate personnel and resources.
• Maintain safety, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Ensure contractual requirements, schedules, quality standards and client expectations are met.
• Review timesheets, expense reports, vacation requests and training requests.
• Interface with client representatives and Aecon leadership.
• Perform regular field tours to observe performance and safety.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support development of risk management plans aligned with project objectives.
• Provide proposal support in pursuit of new opportunities.
