Aecon is seeking a Federal Contracts Manager to oversee accuracy and timeliness of commercial and compliance advice for federal projects. You will support home company and customer requirements, policies, and procedures, reporting to the Director of Federal Contracts Solutions.

The role demands extensive contract negotiation, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel as needed. U.S. citizenship is required due to access to nuclear facilities and information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; J.D., MBA or similar graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, DEAR and CMMC requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-end strategic assessment of bids and proposals, identifying risks across financial, technical, and scheduling areas.
  • Develop engagement strategies for successful contract execution and issue resolution.
  • Negotiate with customers and industry peers, building trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Ensure timely and compliant contract administration, including notices and change management.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve contract organization and processes.
  • Travel domestically as required.
