Job summary

American Data Network is seeking experienced NSQIP-Peds Registry Abstractors to support accurate surgical registry abstraction for assigned healthcare clients. This role requires hands-on NSQIP-Peds abstraction with the ability to review clinical documentation and meet deadlines.

Contractors and full-time staff are welcome; contractors must have reliable internet and equipment. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to quality reporting and patient care

Qualifications

• Must have NSQIP-Peds registry abstraction experience.
• Direct healthcare registry or data abstraction experience required.
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation related to procedures and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract NSQIP-Peds data.
• Apply registry definitions, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and guidelines.
• Interpret surgical documentation, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, and complications.
• Enter data accurately into registry platforms and EHRs.
• Maintain high abstraction accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Participate in QA activities and provide feedback.
• Communicate with team and clients for clarification.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and security requirements.
