American Data Network is seeking experienced NSQIP-Adult Registry Abstractors to support accurate and timely surgical registry abstraction for assigned healthcare clients. This role is ideal for candidates with recent, hands-on NSQIP-Adult abstraction experience who can independently review clinical documentation, apply registry specifications, and meet assigned deadlines with a high level of accuracy. This is not a general data entry position. Candidates must have direct healthcare registry, clinical chart review, quality reporting, or data abstraction experience specific to NSQIP-Adult Registry.
ADN hires both contractors and full-time employees for Data Abstraction roles. Contractors must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Qualified candidates will complete an initial phone screen and a NSQIP-Adult specific abstraction assessment. The assessment is designed to evaluate understanding of registry specifications, abstraction judgment, accuracy, and completion speed. ADN does not provide NSQIP-Adult abstraction training, so candidates should already have the registry experience needed for the role. After hire, ADN provides onboarding to ADN processes, client systems, EHR access, documentation tendencies, and other client-specific workflows.
This position may be a strong fit for experienced NSQIP-Adult abstractors who enjoy independent work, flexible scheduling, registry-based chart review, healthcare quality reporting, and contributing to meaningful work that supports hospitals and patient care. ADN offers a knowledgeable and supportive team environment, multiple registry opportunities, and potential growth into lead or expanded quality roles for strong performers.
