Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualifications (or qualification within 90 days), 5+ years in nuclear QA, and hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix

Qualifications

• Must hold current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualify within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with a team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend approved-supplier-list changes and perform surveillances.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, and verify closure with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support audits.
• Travel to project sites and supplier facilities as required.
