Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework, auditing against ASME NQA-1 standards. You will plan annual schedules, lead audits, supervise a team, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligibility within 90 days, with 5+ years in nuclear QA and strong audit report writing skills. Travel will be involved.

Qualifications

• Qualified or eligible for NQA-1 Lead Auditor within 90 days.
• Documentation of auditing training and minimum audits.
• Written examination per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance and related auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead internal audits of the NQA-1 program.
• Lead supplier audits and verify findings with objective evidence.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, and verify closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support NRC-style audits.
