Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan annual audit schedules, lead internal and supplier audits, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You’ll work with a team of auditors and technical specialists on projects where records, qualification files, and independence matter most.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance
• Qualification in NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days
• Auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21; supplier audits can be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program
• Lead audits end to end with a team of auditors and specialists
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items
• Recommend additions/removals to approved-supplier lists
• Perform surveillances and close corrective actions with evidence
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records
• Support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits of the program
