Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under the nuclear quality assurance framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and ensure corrective actions are closed with objective evidence.

You will manage audit reports, maintain qualification records, and support NRC- and other regulator-style audits, while coordinating with a team of auditors and specialists.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, entrance meeting, objective evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend additions/removals to the approved-supplier list.
• Perform surveillances and close corrective actions with evidence.
• Maintain qualification records and support related audits.
