Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will audit against licensee requirements, maintain qualification records, and ensure independence from audited work. Strong nuclear QA and audit-reporting skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• Experience auditing to nuclear QA requirements in licensee, EPC, or supplier quality environments.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end-to-end: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence review, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend supplier-list actions and perform surveillance.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support external audits.
