Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan annual audits, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, and verify corrective actions to closure across projects.

You will maintain qualification records and interact with licensee QA organizations, ensuring independence and compliance throughout the audit lifecycle. The role requires travel to project sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance auditing.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow without clarification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal and supplier audits end-to-end with your team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
