Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA system, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule and lead internal audits and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists.

You write audit reports, verify corrective actions to closure, and ensure records and independence from the work audited. On projects you audit against a licensee's quality organization and NRC-style reviews as needed.

Formación

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing against 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow without explanation.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; conduct internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend supplier-list changes.
• Perform surveillances; classify findings, issue corrective actions, verify effectiveness, close with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
