Construction Material Testing seeks a seasoned Lead Auditor to manage the audit program under our nuclear QA system, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you appear as the reference for quality information; independence and documented qualifications are essential. Travel to project sites and supplier facilities is required, with per diem and base at Sugar

Qualifications

Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience.
Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
Writes audit reports that NRC inspector could follow without a conversation.

Responsabilités

Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
Lead end-to-end audits: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items.
Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support audits.
Communicate findings and ensure corrective actions are closed with objective evidence.
