Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you audit against licensee requirements; you will maintain qualification records, support NRC-style audits, and deliver findings with objective evidence to closure. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus; writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow from findings.
• Able to present findings to stakeholders and maintain independence from audited work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; internal and supplier audits as required.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklists, meetings, evidence, findings, exit, and report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend supplier-list actions.
• Perform surveillances; classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify closure with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support related audits.
