Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the nuclear QA audit program (ASME NQA-1). You will plan annual audits, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you audit against a licensee's quality organization; your records, qualification file and independence are the foundation of the role. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or able to qualify within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, meetings, evidence, findings, exit, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, verify effectiveness, and close with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
