Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and run the audit program under the nuclear QA regime. You will plan annual audits, lead internal and supplier audits, and ensure corrective actions are closed with objective evidence.

You will maintain qualification records, supervise auditors, and report to stakeholders with authoritative audit findings across projects while ensuring independence from the work audited.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audits.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.
• Writes audit reports that an NRC inspector could follow without a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead end-to-end internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, and verify effectiveness with evidence.
