Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and execute the audit program under the nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure with objective evidence.

The role requires leading audits to NRC-ready standards, coordinating with teams, and maintaining qualification records while supporting broader program audits. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified lead auditor for NQA-1 or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience auditing safety-related items and supplier quality organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and lead internal and supplier audits.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure with objective evidence.
• Supervise auditors and specialists on the audit team during fieldwork.
• Classify findings and issue corrective-action requests.
• Maintain qualification records and support program-wide audits.
