Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework, written to ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write final reports with evidence of corrective actions.

On projects you are the point of contact for the licensee's quality organization; you maintain your qualification files and independence, oversee a team of auditors, and drive findings to closure with objective evidence.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification, or ready within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear QA with hands-on auditing.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.
• Strong report writing and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end with a team of auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items/services.
• Recommend supplier-list changes; perform surveillances.
• Maintain qualification records and support audits of our program.
• Classify findings; issue corrective actions; verify effectiveness.
