Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal audits and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the reference for the licensee's quality organization, so your records, your qualification file, and your independence from the work audited are the foundation of the role.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligibility within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 is required.
• ASQ CQA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end-to-end and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
