Job summary

Best Practice Network is seeking an NPQ Apprenticeship Performance Manager to lead the delivery of NPQ Apprenticeship programmes. The role reports to the Programme Director and works with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely learner progression and high-quality outcomes.

Location is remote with some Bristol-based travel; travel to Bristol at least six times per year is expected. You will oversee tutor performance, ensure funding compliance, manage KPIs, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive learning quality and meet learner start/completion targets.
• Strong knowledge of Apprenticeships and funding streams.
• Experience in Operations/Performance Manager roles within Apprenticeships.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills; strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage NPQ Apprenticeship programme delivery.
• Recruit, manage and coach Apprenticeship Tutors; set KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with funding, regulatory, and inspectorate requirements.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Admin teams.
• Contribute to CPD and quality improvement plans.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for SLT.
