Job summary

Therm-x of California is seeking an NPI Laboratory Technician to join our Engineering team in Hayward. The role focuses on NPI prototype workflows, RF testing, and electro-mechanical assembly in an ISO 9001 environment.

You will support product development and validation, work with RF test fixtures, calibrate equipment, and prepare test reports while ensuring assemblies meet specifications. This hands-on position requires strong technical lab skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with RF test equipment and RF measurements.
• Strong lab skills and attention to detail in ISO 9001 environment.
• Ability to work independently within a lab setting.
• Proficiency with DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Read and execute work orders to build, repair, and test electrical assemblies.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshoot units.
• Manage NPI prototype area to meet customer requirements.
• Set up RF test equipment and characterize RF assemblies.
• Maintain calibration records and document test results.
• Collaborate with engineers on product development and validation.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance in lab activities.
• Interpret drawings and RF schematics; update firmware as needed.
