Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an NPI Engineer to apply electrical engineering and measurement knowledge to RF and microwave test equipment development.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across R&D, Marketing and Production to design, calibrate, and verify new product models, and to transition products into production.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware testing and software development/test automation, with visa sponsorship not available for this position.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with RF/microwave focus.
• Experience in RF and microwave test and measurement.
• Experience developing software in OO programming languages.
• Ability to collaborate across R&D, Marketing, Sales and Production.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting RF/analog/digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features.
• Design and implement calibration algorithms.
• Design, develop, debug, evaluate and execute validation and verification tests.
• Turn-on test boards and fixtures for Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Manage instrument hardware, measurement and calibration processes used during NPI and production.
• Create technical documentation.
• Review and participate in setting production line specifications based on data.
