Job summary

Neros Technologies in Torrance, CA is seeking an RF Test Technician to support hands-on setup, execution, and maintenance of RF test systems used in engineering qualification, production acceptance, and flight testing.

You will build and modify RF test setups, perform soldering and harness assembly, and prepare equipment for field tests while learning spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and other RF meters in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on technician or lab experience in RF, drones, electronics, or related hardware.
• Strong soldering skills for wires, connectors, and small electronics rework.
• Experience building cables, harnesses, coax assemblies, or test fixtures.
• Ability to follow procedures, record results, label hardware, and keep work organized.
• Familiarity with basic electronics lab tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
• Familiarity with RF measurement equipment is preferred; quick learner of spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF switches, and power meters.
• Willingness to support flight tests, production test setups, and hands-on lab work.
• High attention to detail and strong ownership of build quality.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and maintain RF test setups, coax assemblies, RF switch harnesses, cables, fixtures, and lab hardware.
• Prepare equipment and execute qualification and acceptance tests; escalate issues as needed.
• Perform soldering, rework, connector installation, harness assembly, labeling, and lab tasks.
• Help prepare RF hardware for flight tests and support setup, troubleshooting, and teardown in the field.
• Operate basic RF measurement equipment and learn spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF switches, and meters.
• Keep lab and production test areas organized for repeatable, fast execution.
