Job summary

Therm-x of California seeks an experienced NPI Laboratory Technician to join the Engineering team and drive prototype workflows, RF testing, and electro-mechanical assembly in a dedicated ISO 9001 laboratory environment.

You will read work orders, assemble and test components, manage the NPI area, set up RF test equipment, and report results while collaborating with engineers to support product development and validation efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter).
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong documentation and ISO 9001 compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies per work orders.
• Set up RF test equipment and characterize RF assemblies.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure measurement integrity.
• Support NPI prototype area and drive process improvements.
• Document test results and dispositions per acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineers on new product development and validation.
