Job summary
Wabtec Corporation seeks an Operations Development Lead Manufacturing Engineer - NPI to drive the transition of new products from design to production, coordinating with product engineering and the supply chain to meet cost and quality targets. The role requires leadership to manage multi-year programs within a complex matrix and to guide DFSS-driven readiness prior to launch.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Operations Management or Applied Science required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in early-stage product development and communicate expectations for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Test, Installation & Service requirements.
- Apply manufacturing, assembly, quality, sourcing, and service methods into new product designs; integrate early in design process.
- Conduct manufacturing readiness assessments and review designs to transition to manufacturing and supply chain.
- Develop schedules, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Deliver new products on time, within budget, and with expected quality and reliability.
