Job summary

ISC in Fountain Valley, CA seeks an NPI Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and technicians while staying hands-on in new product introductions and process improvements. You will manage workloads, ensure on-time deliverables, and drive manufacturability and cycle-time improvements across transitions from customer order to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing/NPI/Process Engineering or related manufacturing function.
• 2+ years direct people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle.
• Experience managing project priorities, schedules, costs, and deliverables.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and other technical docs.
• Ability to coach and develop technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of NPI Engineers and Technicians, setting expectations and coaching.
• Set priorities and manage workloads across the NPI team.
• Oversee NPI execution from order/release through production readiness.
• Coordinate product transfers between NPI, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Drive DFM/DFA to improve manufacturability, yield, quality, and cost.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex issues and root cause analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce NPI cycle time and improves in production.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify risks and move projects forward.
