Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to manage the NPE design and engineering teams, guiding technical decisions and project execution across NPI programs. This hybrid role blends technical leadership with people management to ensure products meet performance, cost, and quality targets.

The candidate will coordinate with regional and global engineering teams, drive project scoping, budgeting, and risk assessment, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD/PLM software; Autodesk Inventor and Vault preferred.
• Minimum 3 years ERP experience; SAP preferred.
• Experience maintaining SharePoint sites.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate NPE Design & Engineering activities across projects.
• Manage design and engineering resources to meet targets.
• Oversee DFMEA, MVP design phases, and design validation.
• Ensure alignment with BAC standards and production readiness.
• Coach and mentor team; promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Track deliverables and ensure on-time completion across projects.
• Interface with cross-functional teams and leadership to resolve issues.
