Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to manage NPE teams, oversee product development, and drive cross-functional collaboration across design and engineering resources. The role blends technical leadership with project management to meet performance, cost, and quality targets.

The position emphasizes mentorship, Agile project management, and budgeting for multiple initiatives within BAC facilities, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
• Minimum 2000hrs of 3D CAD & PLM software experience (Autodesk Inventor and Vault preferred).
• Minimum 3 yrs of manufacturing ERP experience; SAP preferred.
• Experience with maintaining Sharepoint sites preferred.
• Proven ability to estimate task duration, resources, costs, timelines and risks.
• Strong project management in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design & Engineering processes and improve metrics.
• Coordinate multi-project validation and ensure global manufacturability in BAC facilities.
• Manage NPE Team through all NPI phases.
• Develop accurate scope, time and cost estimates for designs.
• Ensure DFMEA, quality targets and performance targets are met.
