The New Product Development Engineer at UCT in Hayward, CA will serve as the technical owner for products moving from development into manufacturing and customer deployment.
You will support NPI programs, manage product execution through the lifecycle, and act as the primary customer-facing technical resource for field issues, escalations, and early life production support.
Collaborate with Design, Operations, and Quality to drive improvements and maintain schedule commitments.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in a mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, production, product engineering, sustaining engineering, or design engineering.
- Experience with engineering change management, process improvement, and production support is desirable.
Mansioni
- Supports the introduction of new products from design release through prototype, qualification, and production implementation.
- Serves as the primary engineering resource for build follow activities, ensuring products are manufactured as intended.
- Works with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and production issues.
