Job summary

nVent is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Engineer to lead launch activities from kickoff through PPAP, Safe Launch containment, and ECNs. You’ll collaborate with Design, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain to drive launch excellence and ensure customer satisfaction.

This on-site role will be in Anoka and/or Blaine, MN, delivering scalable and safe production while aligning with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
3+ years engineering experience or 5+ years manufacturing experience.
Strong NPI principles, including handling ECNs and integrating changes into quality planning.
Experience with FMEA and control plans.
GD&T understanding.
Ability to read engineering drawings; CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing projects from start to finish with plans, budgets, and deadlines.
Kick-off meetings; analyze SPC data and reduce RPN.
Align product design with manufacturing to scale production while maintaining quality.
Document program results and ensure compliance with requirements, including deviations.
Develop APQP outputs: FMEA, inspection instructions, and control plans.
